Ordering a special meal on Sichuan Airlines is not as straight forward as it could be, but don't worry, here's my guide on how to get your vegan meal as fast as possible!
Vegan food on Sichuan Airlines
I flew with Sichuan Airlines only once, from Chengdu to Bangkok on a 3 hour flight.
I was surprised to see that we received two meals and both were delicious, so as far as quality is concerned we got totally satisfied.

How to order a special meal on Sichuan Airlines
I wasn't able to choose my meal directly on the web page, and this is pretty common with other Chinese Airlines (check my guide here for Air China and China Eastern).
As I have a Chinese telephone number I was able to use the costumer care chat and make my request (enter your number on the first line, copy the verification captcha on the second and the SMS code on the third); after a short time I received an SMS message confirming my choice.
I don't speak a word of Chinese but nowadays you can just write in your own language and AI will translate. You can also use the translation option on your device to better understand the website you are visiting.
Another option is contacting their international sales service, you can find the address here and if you booked through a third party platform ask them to help, it's often the better choice.
It looks complicated but it's worth it!
